Five decisions that make this help desk different
Every help desk has an inbox and a reply box. The differences that matter show up the day a reply should not have been sent, the week the team doubles, and the first time an auditor asks a question.
- Approval on replies
- SLAs that cannot be gamed
- Isolated by design
- Customers always free
Why choose SupaDesk over another help desk?
SupaDesk is built around five decisions: what is sent to a customer can be controlled by rules and proved afterwards; SLA numbers measure what customers experience rather than what flatters the desk; customer data is isolated per workspace and nothing is lost silently; the AI helps agents but never speaks for them; and you pay per agent, with customers and portal users always free.
- Maker-checker approval on replies, bound to the exact content.
- SLA clocks pause only when waiting on the customer.
- One database schema per workspace.
- Silent failures - a quiet mailbox, a bounced reply - are surfaced, not hidden.
- AI that never sends or saves a reply.
- Built and supported in Noida by a team you can reach.
What leaves the desk can be controlled - and proved
Most help desks control who can read a ticket. Very few control what can be sent from one. For many teams, that is the risk that actually matters.
- Communication policies decide which replies need approval, and which are blocked outright.
- Nobody can approve their own reply, directly or through a delegate.
- An approval covers the exact content; any edit asks again.
- Each decision records who, when, and from which IP address and browser.
SLA numbers that match what customers feel
If a status can stop the clock, every difficult ticket ends up in that status - and the report says 98% while customers wait.
- Only waiting on the customer pauses a clock; internal hand-offs and approvals do not.
- Business calendars with holidays and real time zones, safe across daylight saving.
- Editing a policy never moves a deadline already promised.
- Late stays late, even after the work is done.
Isolated by design, and nothing lost in silence
The worst failures in support produce no error at all: a mailbox that stops receiving, a reply that bounced, a note shown to a customer.
- Each workspace has its own database schema - not rows beside other customers'.
- Every inbound message is stored before it is processed; a failure is quarantined, never dropped.
- Mailbox health and bounces are surfaced to the people who need to act.
- Internal notes live in a separate store the customer path cannot reach.
AI that helps, and never speaks for you
A confident wrong sentence in a support reply is a promise you now have to keep. So the AI suggests, and people decide.
- Classify, summarise and polish - never send, never save.
- Off until an administrator switches it on.
- Predictable credits, reserved before use and refunded on failure.
- Summaries read the conversation, never your internal notes.
Fair pricing, and a team you can reach
SupaDesk is built in Noida by Great Developers, who have shipped and supported business software for over a decade. We run our own support on it.
- Pay per agent; customers, contacts and portal users are always free.
- Reply approval and routing from the second plan, not the top one.
- Onboarding run with you on a call, not handed over as a help article.
- INR billing with GST invoicing for Indian customers.
When SupaDesk is the wrong choice
Nobody wins from a bad fit discovered in month three. If one of these describes you, say so on the demo call and we will tell you what we would use instead.
You need chat, voice or WhatsApp today
SupaDesk handles email and a customer portal. WhatsApp and live chat are on the roadmap, not in the product. If those channels carry most of your volume now, choose a suite that has them.
You need full ITSM
SupaDesk runs an IT help desk well, but there is no CMDB, asset, change or problem management. If ITIL processes are a requirement, buy an ITSM platform.
You rely on a marketplace of integrations
There is no app marketplace. If your support process depends on deep CRM, e-commerce or telephony integrations out of the box, a larger suite will fit better.
You want a public help centre in the same tool
SupaDesk does not include a knowledge base. Our sister product TheDocs does that job - but if one tool for both is a must, look elsewhere.
